Our Mission
Saltos de Misiones was born with the goal of creating the most complete and accessible guide to all waterfalls and cascades in the Province of Misiones, Argentina. We want every person who visits this red earth land to discover the magic hidden in every corner of the Missionary jungle.
Where does the information come from?
Part of the geographic and reference data was initially compiled from the collaborative work of OpenStreetMap, particularly from the "Saltos y Cascadas de la Provincia de Misiones" project created by Carlos Brys. However, the information has been extensively enriched and complemented with official tourism sources, traveler reports, field verification, and our own team's research. We are open to receiving information from any reliable source: if you know of a waterfall not on our map, have photos, access details, or any corrections, we'd love to hear from you! Our goal is to build together the most complete guide to the waterfalls of Misiones.
